If I correctly read the wiki about merge blocks, I must first put merge blocks off on one side (I tried on both sides separately AND on both sides together with same effect), then change my built ship from station to ship, and my ship runs off bringing the station with it, breaking all attachment of the station to the asteroid. I merged my large ship while being built to my station. I know that as you weld armor blocks, theyll merge together to save on the number of polygons the engine has to manage. ![]()
